This specimen was lot 71670 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $156. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Franc, 1886-B. Bern Mint. NGC MS-63. A highly lustrous coin with nearly brilliant obverse surfaces and a reverse that displays rich champagne coloration in the centers."

Recorded mintage: 1,000,000 + specimens, a common date for the period.

Specification: 5 g, 0.835 fine silver, .134 troy oz ASW, 23.2 mm diameter, reeded edge.
