Stack's Bowers October 2021 Collector's Choice sale, lot 72405

This specimen was lot 72405 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $95. The catalog description^[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 2 Kronor, 1948-TS. PCGS SPECIMEN-66. A blast white Gem with reflective surfaces and not a trace of toning." This type was struck 1942-50 and is common.

Recorded mintage: 281,660.

Specification: 14 g, 0.400 fine silver, 31 mm diameter.
