Stack's Bowers October 2021 Collector's Choice sale, lot 72414

This specimen was lot 72414 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $120. The catalog description^[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 25 Ore, 1948-TS. PCGS SPECIMEN-67. A prooflike and flashy, untoned coin." This type was struck in billon 1943-50. A nickel-bronze twenty-five öre (KM 798) was struck 1921, 1940-41, 1946-47.

Recorded mintage: 3,191,000.

Specification: 2.32 g, 0.400 fine silver, 17 mm diameter.
