This specimen was lot 25166 in Heritage sale 3016 (Orlando, FL, January 2012), where it sold for $6,325. The catalog description[1] noted, "Frederick I Riksdaler 1721, MS64 NGC, a superb and fully original example of this popular commemorative marking 200 years of independence. The surfaces are virtually pristine and the blend of aged silvery gray patina and mint brilliance is extremely pleasing. Rare and highly desirable in this deluxe quality."
Recorded mintage: 4,000 (including KM 389.1?).
