This specimen was lot 121 in Aureo y Calicó sale 448 (Barcelona, March 2025), where it sold for 130 € (about US$170 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Enrique IV (1454-1474). Segovia. Cuartillo. Obv.: Bust facing. +ENRICVS*QVARTVS*REX*CAS. Rev.: Castle, aqueduct below. +ENRICVS*DEI*GRACIA*REX CAC. Nice. Rich billon. Rare in this condition. EBC- [about extremely fine]. Ex Aureo & Calico 12/15/2010, no. 165." Henry IV had a few cuartillos struck in silver at Cuenca, Segovia and Seville (Cayón-1623 thru -1626) but had a large quantity struck in billon at Avila, Burgos, Coria, La Coruña, Cuenca, Ferias, Guadalajara, Jaén, Leon, Madrid, Medina del Campo, Murcia, Palencia, Segovia (shown here), Seville, Toledo, Toro, Valladolid, Villalon and Zamora.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a fairly common mint.
