This specimen was lot 37409 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "SCOTLAND. 2 Shillings, ND (1603-25). Edinburgh Mint. James VI. PCGS EF-45. Ninth Coinage. From the Richard August Collection." This is the only two shillings struck for James VI (I). It is listed as silver but was probably billon.
