This specimen was lot 37416 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SCOTLAND. Turner (2 Pence), ND (1623). Edinburgh Mint. James VI. PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, VF Details. From the Richard August Collection." This type was worth a little less than an English farthing and was struck for James VI (I). Other turners Of James VI include KM 37 and several issues from the sixteenth century.
