This specimen was lot 1141 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €10,500 (about US$14,868 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"EUROPÄISCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · ITALIEN, SARDINIEN Karl Emanuel III., 1730-1773. 4 Zecchini 1745, Turin. Gekrönter Adler, den Kopf nach l. gewandt, auf der Brust Wappenschild von Savoyen, umher Ordenskette//Mariä Verkündigung, im Abschnitt die Jahreszahl 1745. GOLD. RR Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Italy, kingdom of Sardinia, Charles Emanuel III, 1730-73, four zecchini of 1745, Turin mint. Obverse: crowned eagle, head left, supporting the arms of Savoy, order chain around; reverse: Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, date in exergue. Very rare, very fine to extremely fine.)"
The SCWC mentions this for 1745 only while Numista adds 1746 and 1747. It is rarer than the mintage figure suggests.
