This specimen was lot 1283 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €800 (about US$1,113 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIEN, SARDINIEN. Karl Emanuel III. 1730-1773. 1/2 Zecchino 1744, Turin. GOLD. RR Sehr schön. (Italy, kingdom of Sardinia, Charles Emanuel III, 1730-73, half zecchino of 1744, Turin mint. Rare, Very fine.)"
This is the only half ducat listed for Sardinia in the eighteenth century. It accompanied an equally rare ducat (Fr-1112).
