This specimen was lot 3723 in Sincona sale 39 (Zürich, May 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALY | House of Savoy. Sardinia, Carlo Emanuele III, 1730-1773 Lira 1742. Torino. Selten. Sehr schön. Leicht justiert. (kingdom of Sardinia, Charles Emanuel III, 1730-73, lira of 1742, Turin mint. Rare. Very fine. Minor adjustment marks.)"
This scarce type was issued 1742, 1747, 1748. It was accompanied by a mezza lira and a 2½ soldi.
