Santander 1937 50 centimos

This specimen is a relic of the shortlived council of the provinces of Santander, Palencia and Burgos established in the north of Spain during the Spanish Civil War. It may have actually made it to Spain before the region was overrun by the Fascists in June 1937, as worn specimens are common.
