25 centimos on the left and right

These specimen were lot 1740 in Jean Elsen sale 164 (Brussels, March 2026), which sold for €160 (about US$223 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ESPAGNE, Guerre civile (1936-1939), lot de 3 p. de nécessité républicaines: Ibi, 1 peseta, 1937; 25 centimos, 1937 (avec et sans carte). Très Beau. (Spain, Civil War, 1936-39, lot of three necessity pieces struck by the republicans at Ibi: one peseta and 25 centimos (one with and one without map). Very Fine.)"

Ibi is in the province of Alicante in the southern part of the kingdom of Valencia. These coins were issued there during the Spanish Civil War and were made in the town. They were withdrawn in February 1938. Varieties exist for the 25 centimos. What looks like die cracks on the rightmost specimen is intended to be a map of Spain.

Recorded mintage: 10,000.

Specification: 4 g, copper, 24 mm diameter.
