Künker sale 336, lot 6446

This specimen was lot 6446 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €1,600 (about US$2,094 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DIE GEISTLICHKEIT IN DEN HABSBURGISCHEN ERBLANDEN, SALZBURG, Sigismund III. von Schrattenbach, 1753-1771. 2 Dukaten 1755. GOLD. Sehr schön-vorzüglich/vorzüglich. (Germany, archbishopric of Salzburg, Sigismund II of Schrattenbach, 1753-71, double ducat of 1755. Very fine to extremely fine.)"

This rather scarce type was accompanied by a single ducat (KM 381) and half ducat (KM 384).
