This specimen was lot 357 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 150 CHF (about US$202 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, Poltina 1842/40, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB ACh/NG. 10.47 g. 2 over 0 in date, re-engraved mint mark from NG. Very rare variety. Good very fine."
Altho struck in much much smaller numbers than the contemporary ruble, this type struck at St. Petersburg 1832-58 has about the same catalog value.
Recorded mintage: 214,000 including 1842/39-AC and assayer NG (rare).
