This specimen was lot 75440 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $292.80. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Kopek, 1842-CNM. Izhora Mint. Nicholas I. PCGS MS-62 Brown. From the Odessa Collection." This type was struck at the Izhora branch of the St. Petersburg mint 1840-43 and has a modest catalog value. The reverse legend, "❁ 1 ❁/КОПѢЙКА/СЕРЕБРОМЪ", means "one kopek silver." This type was also struck at Ekaterinburg, St. Petersburg and Suzun 1839-47.

Recorded mintage: 11,200,000 for 1840-43.
