This specimen was lot 25379 in Heritage sale 3019 (Chicago, April 2012), where it sold for $5,462.50. The catalog description[2] noted, "Nicholas II Rouble 1832 CПБ-HГ, Crowned doubled-headed Imperial eagle / Crowned date and value in wreath, MS64 NGC. A lovely original example with sparkling luster beneath attractive gold and blue toning. A fit for even the finest collection." This type was struck 1832-58 in large quantities but is today very rare in nice condition. The preceding type (Dav-282) is very similar but with a "wings down" eagle.
