This specimen was lot 1650 in Ponterio sale 173 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $646. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Kopek, 1832-EM OX. NGC MS-62 BN." This is a product of the Ekaterinburg mint with Fedor Khvochinski as the mintmaster. This type is reported for 1831-38. The SCWC reports a weight of 4 g for this issue, manifestly too low.

Recorded mintage: 3,400,000.

Specification: 10.24 g, copper, 27 mm diameter.
