This specimen was lot 24799 in Heritage sale 3015 (Long Beach, September 2011), where it sold for $863.65. The catalog description[1] noted, "Regensburg. Leopold of Austria Taler 1694-MF, nicely toned XF-AU, wavy flan as made from rolle[r] dies." This issue is not common but is listed for less than any other thaler of Regensburg of the seventeenth century. Regensburg passed to Bavaria in 1803.

Recorded mintage: 6,821 (with Dav-5772).
