This specimen was lot 4160 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €300 (about US$418 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Wilhelm I. 1861-1888. Wilhelm I. 1861-1888. Vereinstaler 1862, A. Ausbeute. Vorzüglich. Erworben am 22.9.1972. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, William I, 1861-88, union thaler of 1862, for the mines. Extremely fine.)"
This is the last mining thaler struck in Prussia, issued 1861-62.
