This specimen was lot 22370 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it sold for $129.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Prussia. Taler, 1819-A. PCGS AU-58. Struck shortly after the Napoleonic Wars as normalcy returned to Prussia. An attractive example of the issue, with soft white satin surfaces and slight strike weakness accounting for the grade perhaps as much as any actual wear." This type was issued 1816-22 at Berlin (shown here) and Düsseldorf and is common in worn condition. This is a common date.
