This specimen was lot 3626 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €2,000 (about US$2,584 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH Friedrich Wilhelm II. 1786-1797. Friedrichs d'or 1794, B, Breslau. GOLD. RR Fast sehr schön. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William II, 1786-97, gold frederick d'or of 1794, Breslau mint. Rare, nice very fine.)"
This type was struck in Berlin and Breslau 1786-97 and is the only friedrichs d'or of this ruler. These coins saw hard use and are frequently found heavily worn.
