This specimen was lot 10289 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $564. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Prussia. Taler, 1795-A. NGC MS-62. Friedrich Wilhelm II (1786-97). Toned. From the Demarete Collection." This type was issued 1791-97 at Berlin (shown here), Breslau and Königsberg and is common in worn condition.
