Künker sale 353, lot 3499

This specimen was lot 3499 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €60 (about US$84 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich II. der Große, 1740-1786. 1/4 Reichstaler preuß. 1768, B, Breslau. Fast sehr schön. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick II the Great, 1740-86, quarter thaler of 1768, Breslau mint. About very fine.)"

This type was struck 1764-68. It is one of the few times this denomination was struck in any quantity.
