This specimen was lot 74461 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "PORTUGAL. 100 Reis, 1854. Lisbon Mint. Pedro V. PCGS Genuine--Repaired, Unc Details. Despite the noted repair, this example is strongly detailed and most handsome." This type was struck 1854 only and is rather scarcer than the modest catalog value indicates.
