This specimen was lot 3052 in Goldberg sale 34 (Beverly Hills, February 2006), where it sold for $270. The catalog description[1] noted, "Portugal. 200 Reis, 1798. Maria I, 1786-1798. A lovely early type in choice condition. PCGS graded MS-63." This type was struck 1793-99 and is roughly the same size as the contemporary Brazilian 320 réis.
