This type is listed for 1759 only and was struck in Rome. After an issue in 1760, no more copper baiocchi were made in Rome until 1782. The early coinage of the Papal States used an antique monetary system. After 1740, five quattrini = one baiocco; 100 baiocchi = one scudo.
