This specimen was lot 11004 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €432 (about US$450). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 4 Skilling, 1642. Christiania mint. Christian IV. NGC EF Details--Bent. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale - 1922)." This type was struck 1641-42 and is scarce. It was worth 1/24 of a specie daler. This variety has the obverse spelled "CHRISTIAN IIII D G DAN NO"; others have it spelled "CHRISTIAN IIII D G DAN NOR".

Recorded mintage: 45,200.

Specification: 1.18 g, 0.875 fine silver, 17.1 mm diameter, this specimen 1.11 g.
