This specimen was lot 11005 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €900 (about US$938). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Skilling, 1642. Christiania mint. Christian IV. NGC AU-53. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Johan G. Guildal Collection (Private Sale - 1918)." This type was struck 1641-42 and is scarce. It was worth 1/48 of a specie daler. This variety has the value spelled ".II./SKILIN/G:DANS"; others have it spelled ".II./SKILIN/G:DAN".

Recorded mintage: 91,000.

Specification: 0.59 g, 0.875 fine silver, 14 mm diameter, this specimen 0.58 g.
