This specimen was lot 11001 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €1,080 (about US$1,126). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 4 Skilling, 1641. Christiania mint. Christian IV. NGC EF Details--Bent. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Johan G. Guildal Collection (Private Sale - 1918). Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale - 1922)." This type was struck 1641-42 and is scarce, verging on rare. It was worth 1/24 of a specie daler. This variety has the value spelled "IIII/SCKILI/NG·DA/NSK" instead of "IIII/SKILI/NG·DA/NSK".

Recorded mintage: 11,700, all varieties.

Specification: 1.18 g, 0.875 fine silver, 17.1 mm diameter, this specimen 1.07 g.
