This specimen was lot 73270 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 5 Onza (Ounces), 2010-Mo. Mexico (Potosi) Mint. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. Tied for finest certified of the date with 24 other pieces on the NGC census. Bright and flashy with hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo devices garnering a near perfect grade from NGC. Free of tone, haze or fog." This type was struck in small numbers 1996-2024. The mintage shown here is typical.
