This specimen is one of a type issued 1992-95. In 1997, the type was revised to drop the "N" in "N$5" but was otherwise unchanged (KM 605). This coin had (March 2018) has a face value of US$0.264, now (December 2024) US$0.243.

Recorded mintage: 70,000,000.

Specification: 7.07 g, bimetallic, 25.5 mm diameter, plain edge.
