This specimen was lot 4337 in Goldberg sale 70 (Los Angeles, September 2012), where it sold for $172.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mexico. 8 Reales, 1891-Zs FZ. Cap and ray. NGC graded MS-62." This eight reales is one of a series struck 1825-97 at the Zacatecas mint. This date is common. Assayer FZ is recorded for 1886-1904.

Recorded mintage: 4,114,000.

Specification: 27.07 g, 0.903 fine silver, .786 troy oz ASW.
