This specimen was lot 1509 in Jean Elsen sale 158 (Brussels, March 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"ESPAGNE, MAJORQUE, Pierre Ier (IV en Aragon) (1343-1387), billon dobler. D/ + P' DEI GRA ARAGON B. couronné de f. entre deux rosettes. R/ + ET MAIOR-ICAR REX Croix longue. Rare. Beau à Très Beau. (Spain, kingdom of Mallorca, Peter of Aragon, 1343-87, billon dobler. Obverse: crowned bust facing between two rosettes; reverse: long cross. Rare, Fine - Very Fine.)"

This ruler issued many coins ranging from a real de oro down to a billon diner (half a dobler). The Balearic islands were not reconquered from the Moslems until 1229-32. Aragon's possession of them allowed the dynasty to dominate the western Mediterranean.
