This specimen was lot 70187 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "JORDAN. 100 Fils, AH 1398/1978. Kings Norton Mint. Hussein bin Talal. PCGS SPECIMEN-62. Despite some evidence of light handling, this specimen retains charm with a swirling luster and rich details. Ex: Kings Norton Mint Collection." The coinage of Jordan began with the issue of bronze and copper-nickel coins in 1949. This type was struck for circulation 1978, 1981, 1984-85, 1989 and 1991. All the dates are common.

Recorded mintage: 3,000,000 plus 20,000 proofs.

Specification: 12 g, copper-nickel, 30 mm diameter.
