The first specimen was lot 33396 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Hussein Ibn Talal Specimen 50 Fils 1984 SP68 PCGS, King's Norton mint. Classical flawlessness along with pleasing die polish lines characterize this stunning offering. Ex. King's Norton Mint Collection." The coinage of Jordan began with the issue of bronze and copper-nickel coins in 1949. This type was struck for circulation 1978-91. No proofs are recorded.
