Jordan 1992 dinar Fr-13
This specimen was lot 76002 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $960. The catalog description[1] noted, "JORDAN. Gold Dinar, AH 1413/1992. Hussein bin Talal. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the king's reign. A charming modern gold commemorative featuring a frosted portrait of the Jordanian king set in cameo contrast against the mirrored fields." This design was also used for a silver dinar (KM 51.1 and 51.2) and a gold piedfort (KM P4). Like all silver and gold coins of Jordan, it was not issued for circulation.
