Sincona sale 85, lot 1120

This specimen was lot 1120 in Sincona sale 85 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 1,000 CHF (about US$1,347 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"IRAN, Muzaffar al-Din Shah, 1313-1324 AH (1896-1907). 1/5 Toman 1323 AH (1905/1906 AD), Tehran Mint. Bust type. Very rare in this condition. NGC MS64. Magnificent condition. From the Kian collection, auction SINCONA 49, October 2018, lot 116. Bought from Stephen Album, Santa Rosa, 1995. Finest certified by NGC."

This type was struck AH 1319 and 1322-1324 along with a silver 2000 dinars (KM 979).
