Sincona sale 85, lot 1125

This specimen was lot 1125 in Sincona sale 85 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 900 CHF (about US$1,212 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"IRAN, Muzaffar al-Din Shah, 1313-1324 AH (1896-1907). 2000 Dinars 1323 AH (1905/1906 AD), Tehran Mint. Bust type. NGC MS63. Magnificent condition. From the Kian collection, auction SINCONA 49, October 2018, lot 157. Finest certified by NGC."

This type was struck AH 1323 only along with a gold 2000 dinars (Fr-72).

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 9.21 g, 0.900 fine silver.
