This specimen was lot 1116 in Sincona sale 85 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$539 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN, Muzaffar al-Din Shah, 1313-1324 AH (1896-1907). 1/2 Toman 1323 AH (1905/1906 AD), Tehran Mint. Bust type. Rare. NGC MS61. From the Kian collection, auction SINCONA 49, October 2018, lot 123. Second finest certified by NGC."
This type was struck AH 1318-1324 along with a silver 5000 dinars.
