This specimen was lot 47736 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. Qajar Dynasty. 1/2 Toman (5000 Dinars), AH 1319 (1901/2). Tehran Mint. Muzaffar al-Din Shah. NGC AU-58. Error date, "AH 13019". From the Genden Collection." This type was struck AH 1316-1324 and often comes weakly struck. A silver pattern (KM Pn31) exists.

Specification: 1.43 g, 0.900 fine gold, 14 mm diameter, 0.0416 troy oz AGW.
