This specimen was lot 1035 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $450. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH INDIA: George V, 1910-1936, AR 2 annas, 1913(c), a lovely proof restrike example! PCGS graded Proof 63." This type was struck 1912-17 before being converted to copper-nickel. The Bombay mint contributed another 5,461,000. In the 1950's and 1960's both mints restruck coins of the Raj for sale to collectors; many restrikes may be distinguished by rusty dies.
Recorded mintage: 13,959,000 plus proofs plus 5,461,000 from Bombay.
