This specimen was lot 1869 in Classical Numismatic Group's auction of the Richard Lissner collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $8,470. Only graded example of 55 pieces struck and extremely rare. Purchased from Louis Collins, May 1974." This type was issued irregularly 1883-1913 but never in large quantities.
