This specimen was lot 1036 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 28 (Winter Park, FL, November 2020), where it sold for $375. The catalog description[1] noted, "Honduras, 1 peso, 1896/4, PCGS AU50, finest and only example in PCGS census. KM-62. Very weakly struck from old dies (normal for this date) but with traces of luster emanating from lightly toned surfaces, finest at PCGS and tied with at same grade at NGC (none higher)." This is a better date of a type struck 1894-96.

Reported Mintage: 21,000.

Specification: 25 g, 0.900 fine silver.
