This specimen was lot 74821 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Hesse-Darmstadt. 10 Mark, 1875-H. Darmstadt Mint. Ludwig III. NGC AU-53. Displays limited signs of circulation with well-retained details across smooth, austere gold surface."
