Hannover 1802-C 2/3 thaler KM-412
This specimen was lot 5230 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €420 (about US$543 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-CALENBERG-HANNOVER, AB 1692 KURFÜRSTENTUM HANNOVER, Georg III. 1760-1820. 2/3 Taler 1802, Hannover. Prachtexemplar. Feine Patina, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (electorate of Hannover, George III, 1760-1820, two-thirds thaler of 1802, Hannover mint. Fine patina, extremely fine.)"
This type with a bust obverse struck 1801-02 along with a two-thirds thaler with arms on the obverse (KM 413). After years of striking underweight gulden, this one is full weight.
