Hannover 1802-C 2/3 thaler KM-413
This specimen was lot 5231 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €280 (about US$362 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-CALENBERG-HANNOVER, AB 1692 KURFÜRSTENTUM HANNOVER, Georg III. 1760-1820. 2/3 Taler 1802, Hannover. Welter 2814; Kahnt 194; Smith 230. Feine Patina, vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 46, Osnabrück 1999, Nr. 2135. (electorate of Hannover, George III, 1760-1820, two-thirds thaler of 1802, Hannover mint. Fine patina, extremely fine.)"
This type with arms on the obverse struck 1801-05 along with a two-thirds thaler with the king's bust on the obverse (KM 412).
