This specimen was lot 41370 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $90. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 1/3 Taler, 1754-IBH. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg II August (George II of Great Britain). PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." The 12 mariengroschen was last struck in hannover in 1715. This type was struck 1737-60 and is expensive in nice condition. There is also KM 323 with a leaping stallion on the reverse but it is rare.
