This specimen was lot 55584 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 2/3 Taler, 1736-IAB. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg II August (George II of Great Britain). About Uncirculated Details -- Cleaned. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." George II issued four different gulden in 1736, two with mintmaster initials "IAB". This somewhat scarce "wild man" gulden was struck 1730-43.
