This specimen was lot 2567 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 80 CHF (about US$107 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Calenberg-Hannover, Herzogtum, Georg II. 1727-1760. 1/3 Taler 1735, Zellerfeld. Feinsilber. Mit der Münzmeistersignatur IAB. Selten. Gutes sehr schön (Rare, Good very fine)." The 12 mariengroschen was terminated after 1715. This one-third thaler, which superseded it, was struck 1730-36 and 1752.
