This specimen was lot 73597 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 12 Mariengroschen (1/3 Taler), 1718-HH. Zellerfeld Mint; mm: crossed axes between HH. Georg Ludwig (George I of Great Britain). PCGS AU-55. Warm argent surfaces merge into more deeply toned peripheries in this attractive piece. The Wild Man is quite sculpted and detailed, commanding a presence on the obverse. Very light wear and only a few minor soft areas on the reverse. Attractive. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1716-23 along with KM 110 (struck 1716-27 and scarce).
